The Problem
After working previously as an Operations Manager for a freight forwarding company, Manny decided he wanted something more consistent and structured. Although he liked that his previous role was independent and close to home, he was struggling to find progression opportunities and wanted to go further. After assisting his brother-in-law (who is a Gas Safety engineer) on a few jobs, Manny realised he had a natural flare for more hands-on roles and decided to pursue a career in gas.
The Solution
With the help of his wife, Manny researched various companies online that offered the Gas safety course, and after speaking to 3 different companies, decided to choose Brookhouse. He believed we offered a complete package; we provided training and are also dedicated to finding our trainees a placement. He was pleased with our communication and willingness to assist in all parts of completing the course full-time, such as finding reasonable local accommodation.
He felt that our lecturers were readily available to answer any questions and provide support where needed, and he was happy with the detailed study material provided. He sang our instructors’ praises, stating that they have comprehensive knowledge of the course and years of experience in the gas industry. He also really enjoyed the practical aspects of the course.
We are proud to say that Manny is now fully employed as a gas engineer through the company Brookhouse provided for his portfolio placement.
