The Problem

Previously Steve Crabtree had a job as a forklift truck driver and with many relatives and friends with different careers he had thought a change of job would provide him with better prospects. Aged 33 from Manchester, Steve admits that retraining to become a gas engineer had been in the back of his mind for a few years. Initially he spent several months looking for opportunities but the real catalyst was actually being laid off from his forklift truck job and when this happened Steve began doing his research on the internet.
