We firmly believe you should be 100% sure that you are making the right decision about your future, which is why we have open days. Our open days allow you to find out as much as you can about us, our courses, our students and the industry before you make a commitment. This is your opportunity to see first hand who you might be training with, receive career advice and to ask as many questions as you like. Although places are limited you are more than welcome to bring a friend or a partner but please note it is ‘first come, first served’ as the demand is so high. So booking a place is always a good idea, plus it helps us with the catering! Please understand, we want you to leave with all your questions answered and a clear idea of the path you want to take - in your own time, without any pressure. This is really important; we want you to understand that we are VERY different from what you may be expecting. Regardless of what you may think, WE WILL NOT try to pressure you into a place during or after our open days. We hope to leave you informed and educated with your mind at ease, happy that you have met us, and impressed with our centre leaving you able to make your decision about your future. ...BTC easily was the best by far... "Every other course provider advertising on the net told me I had to do the 6129 basic plumbing certificate and NVQ level 2 before I could do the 6132 gas training, which is what I really wanted to do. After spending an hour with Mark at BTC (and getting to see the training actually being done) I saved wasting a year of my time and over £5k on courses I don't need. You CAN train straight away to be a fully qualified gas engineer, other course providers just want that extra £5k for a quick basic course and will tell you anything to get it. The key with BTC is the work placement. I found the course information at BTC very clear and structured in a logical way that makes it easy to understand, so easier to make your decisions and there was no pressure at all to sign up or pay deposits. I have been a Sales Rep for 19 years in the construction industry and have been out of work for 2 months with no jobs available. At 36 years old I will be retraining with BTC as a gas engineer in September in Corby, Northants. After 2 months of researching these courses I can only be honest about my experiences and so recommend BTC easily as the best by far. Thanks for your help, Mark." Paul Godwin, Northants
