A EUSR Card is required; delegates must possess SHEA Gas prior to commencement.

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Assist in locating and avoiding supply apparatus and sub-structures.
• Working under supervision, excavates holes and trenches in ground and pavement structures.
• Assist in preparing the reinstatement of excavation and pavement surfaces.
• Working under supervision, contributes to an efficient and effective work environment.
• Working under supervision, contributes to health, safety and environment in the workplace.
• Working under supervision, operates powered tools and equipment for routine and predictable requirements during Gas Network Operations.
• Working under supervision, join materials by manually controlled thermal processes.
• Working under supervision, assembles components to meet specifications.
• Assist in preparing resources and segregating the area for highways works.
• Assist in preparing resources and segregating the area of site works.

Unit 1: Locating and avoiding supply apparatus and substructures
